Rare Metals

Nickel

Thanks to its resistance to rust, heat, and wear, nickel plays a vital role in every aspect of our lives. Uses range from stainless steel and electronic components to automotive parts.
Nickel has gained increasing attention in recent years as an indispensable material for smartphone batteries and electric vehicle batteries.
It is the fifth most abundant element on Earth, primarily mined in countries like Australia, Indonesia, Russia, and Canada.
Also, cobalt is often obtained as a byproduct during nickel mining.
